Our alcohol free Witch Hazel is a clear, colorless distillate from the partially dried twigs and bark of the Hamamelis virginiana Linné plant, containing 0.15% Benzoic Acid. Unlike many forms of Witch Hazel, this variety of Witch Hazel does not contain any alcohol.
Good for dry skin as it can act as a natural astringent, cleansing and tightening pores without the harshness of alcohol-based products. It also helps to constrict and tighten skin tissues, reducing the appearance of pores and helping to control oil production.
It reduces excess oil - by tightening pores and reducing oil production, witch hazel can help to combat the greasy feel and appearance of oily skin.
Soothes inflammation: it has anti-inflammatory properties, which can help to calm irritated or inflamed skin, especially beneficial for acne-prone skin
